Jamie Jurado
Voice/Piano/Guitar/Ukulele/Flute Teacher

Jamie Jurado is a graduate of Madonna University with a dual Bachelors in General Music (Vocal) and Mathematics for Elementary Education. As a certified elementary school teacher, she cherishes the formative years where her love for music grew. During those years she learned piano, guitar, and flute while also singing in the choir.

Ultimately pursuing vocal music and elementary education, she believes that music and the arts are an integral part of any child’s education. Music allows students the chance to express themselves, be creative, and grow confidence as young musicians. She is currently working to complete the coursework needed for her Music Education certification.

Her experience performing vocal music varies in style from musical theater to opera to popular music. Some of her favorite experiences are performing in the musical The Phantom of the Opera, studying opera in Spain, and directing and arranging popular music for her a cappella group.
